Relive L'Étape La Paz by Tour de France !

The weather turned out to be absolutely perfect for riding in optimal conditions: the coolness of the morning was quickly dissipated by the rays of the sun. The temperature oscillating between 20° and 25° allowed all the cyclists to express themselves without suffering from the weather conditions.
El Saltito, a climb proposed on the Ruta Larga, allowed the leading runners to isolate themselves to better compete in the final of the event. It should be noted that some gusts of wind, mainly at the end of the event, could have further weakened bodies already tested by several tens of kilometers.

The event had three distances:

• 45.5 km sprint route
• Short route of 69.5 km.
• Long route of 122.5 km.

In addition, there was a speed challenge that consisted of running in the shortest time from kilometer 44 to 49.
The start and finish line were located on the scenic road at the Molinito.

Wearing a beautiful commemorative jersey of the Italian brand Santini, the cyclists took the start at 6:30 a.m. and enjoyed a beautiful view during the entire route.
