Groma Hold will be the main sponsor of L'Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France
The road construction company will rehabilitate the Tsvetino-Gorna Dаbeva section especially for the competition
One of the established road construction companies in Bulgaria - Groma Hold - becomes the main sponsor of the first edition of L'Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France. For the first year, our country will host a stage of the legendary cycling race as part of the world circuit, which is under the auspices of the Tour de France. The competition in Bulgaria will take place on July 30th on a specially selected route near Velingrad and will include two distances - long (102 km) and short (57 km).
Groma Hold will take care of bringing the section of the route between the villages of Tsvetino and Gorna Dabeva to the highest level of the necessary international standards. This is the so-called gravel section where King of the Mountain, also known as Best Climber of the Race, will be chosen.

Anyone can participate in L'Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France - both amateurs and professionals. Many foreign cyclists are also expected to visit Bulgaria, especially for the race. The organizers from SC "Sports for All - Sofia" promise an unforgettable weekend with a variety of experiences for cycling lovers. The day before the actual competition - on July 29 - a family ride on a 5-kilometer distance, as well as a ride for children on a route of 0.5 km, will start from the center of Velingrad. In parallel with this, the center of Velingrad will welcome the Tour de France Museum and many sports and festival entertainment.
