The atmosphere in the Race Village will be one of a cycling festival, full of joy, excitement and competitive spirit.
The main areas of the Race Village are:
1. THE ACTIVATION AREA where sponsors invite both participants and visitors to unique experiences.
Auchan, the official sponsor of the event, is waiting for you in the Race Village with everything you need to spend a perfect day! In the dedicated shop you will find an extensive offer of products only good for moments of hydration and for energizing breaks! Here you can also find a quick snack when you feel the need to nibble on something or give yourself a refresh, such as peanuts, chips, crackers, energy drinks, ice cream or puffs, all to your taste.
The Auchan food truck invites you to discover fresh and tasty dishes and enjoy delicacies such as fries with cheese topping, delicious cheese mix, crispy schnitzel in pita with cheese and cheddar, French baguettes with smoked sausage and gouda or menus with chicken breast and mini schnitzel with sesame.
In addition, whenever you want to enjoy a moment of respite, Auchan provides you with a relaxation area, specially created for you, to fully enjoy the moments of an unforgettable event.
Vodafone will set the mood for a memorable day at its marquee in front of the stage. Here you are invited to relax in the swing or take a picture on the trampoline podium and stay for a music session with a live DJ! For an energy boost, you'll enjoy the rousing performances of the Barbarossa Samba Band who, for a day, will be Vodafone's cheering band.
The legendary L'Étape Romania by Tour de France in the heart of Bucharest receives this year the support of Altex, a leader in the electro-IT field, which for several years has been marketing new categories of products, including bicycles and electric scooters. As a promoter of nature-friendly means of transport, Altex has prepared a series of surprises and prizes for all visitors to its tent. They will have the opportunity to test various models of bicycles, from classic to electric ones, and even purchase them at special prices. In addition, cycling enthusiasts are invited to visit the 360 photo booth to capture unique images and videos. In addition, Altex is preparing a special raffle for this event, giving several lucky participants the chance to win an electric scooter and two bicycles.
DORNA is the brand that hydrates and cools you at L'Étape Romania by Tour de France! The Dorna drinking stand has water barrels and a spacious tent with cushions and poufs ready to welcome you in the shade and rest after the race.
At the Škoda stand you will discover the brand's fascinating universe. From the shade of the 2 tents specially prepared for visitors on a hot summer day, you will be able to admire the original Škoda cycling accessories.
From one experience to another you arrive at the Lindab stand... Are you together with your children at the event and wondering what they do for half the day? Very handy: at the LINDAB tent you can find FACE PAINTING and BALLOON TOYS! Also at the LINDAB tent you can take a PICTURE IN A SPECIAL FRAME and make your OWN 360 VIDEO.
You can learn about the unique training experience for amateurs and professionals at the Technogym stand. Here you can try the all-in-one bike, access the most loved applications for cyclists (Zwift, Strava, ROUVY, TrainingPeaks, Kinomap and Bkool) and participate in fun challenges with numerous Technogym brand prizes!
Reciclad'OR & Remat Holding support all participants and visitors with special systems for the separate collection of recyclable waste and interactive creative recycling workshops, thus developing sustainable components of the event. Eco-experiences will be offered in the specially designed corner, where they will create personalized memories at the "Pollution-Free Race".
Farmacia de Detergent, HAMA, Velux and WWF have prepared contests in the activation area with dozens of attractive prizes that you can go home with just by spinning the WHEEL OF LUCK.
AmBike is the place where the most skilled technicians are waiting for you and the Bicycle Ambulance that will accompany the platoon in the race.
Black Cab comes to the event with a fleet of 14 cars serving all sections of the route and in the Race Village it will be represented by a Tesla car. Black Cab also opens the races this year, with an electric Porsche Taycan.
The Perskindol Activ Gel mascot will cheer alongside riders and will offer free samples of this effective product for muscles and joints to those who need it.
2. COMMERCIAL AREA. Here you will be able to view and purchase the latest in equipment, nutrition and sports literature. The most important brands in Romania welcome you, such as: Decathlon, Hervis, Giant, Sport Guru, Abus, Powerbar and Pilot Books. And here you have prepared contests with prizes and mechanical assistance at the Decathlon tent.
3. THE FOOD COURT AREA is ready to provide you with various goodies. The Auchan Food Truck will work continuously, AgriroFresch will satisfy your desire for fresh salads, Anelyse Gelato Artigianale will delight you with the most fragrant and creamy ice cream and Produse Artizanale will offer sweets, fresh drinks and coffee for a good mood of relaxation in Race Village.
4. THE FOOD ZONE, dedicated exclusively to race participants, is supported this year by PowerBar, Dorna, AgriroFresh & Oliveris, Auchan, Nutrivita, Pasta Băneasa, Heineken and Artesana with isotonic drinks and nutritional bars, pasta prepared on site with delicious sauces, ready-to-eat salads, cold water, non-alcoholic beer, bananas, biscuits and a tasting of authentic Romanian cheeses and yoghurts.
After the race, immediately in the vicinity of the feeding area, Terapie pentru Mișcare will provide massage for those who feel tense muscles and fatigue taking over their body.
5. THE TEAM AREA will host the tents of the company teams that have the most riders in the race, such as RTPR, Gramofon, Vodafone, Giant, Capegemini and Para-cycling teams.
For medical safety, SANADOR will be with us, with emergency doctors and rescuers of the highest class. Throughout the event, agents from CPI Security will sweep the entire Race Village so that we can enjoy an atmosphere of peace and joy.
