Nearly 1500 cyclists painted a multicolored caravan in categories 9 and 3 routes: sprint stage (40 km), short stage (75 km) and long stage (111 km). in this third edition of L'Etape Estado de México by Tour de France. The race took place in the Parque Ambiental Bicentenario, Metepec, Estado de Mexico, whose activity passed through several Mexican municipalities.

The sun was shining to make it a beautiful day in the saddle! L'Étape Estado de México has 3 incredible climbs where cyclists pushed their bike-climbing skills to the limit. In La Cumbre the athletes had an extra challenge "La cronoescalada" which consisted of 2.5 km with average ramps of 9% and total + 221 m accumulated.

In the end, Miguel Luis Alvarez Ayala won the men's race and Ana Sofia Zarate Vera won the women's race.
