Matej Mohorič's epic victory extends the validity of the TOUR code

Matej Mohorič' won the 19th stage of the Tour de France for the Bahrain Victorious team on the 173km long route Moiranes en Montagne–Poligny. An epic achievement for our ambassador and his 3rd stage victory at globally the most renowned cycling event Tour de France at 110th edition is also an extraordinary success for Slovenian cycling. Congratulations!

We are extending the validity of the TOUR code

Therefore, it is time to celebrate! We are extending the validity of the TOUR code until July 31, 2023, for registration to the Ride, a shorter 70 km and Race, a longer, 138 km route of L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France, which will take place in Kranj on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

And yes - this is also - probably the only opportunity to ride along closed roads with Matej Mohorič shoulder to shoulder. Matej Mohorič: Last year, my favourite part of the route – probably identically to the most participants as well – was the climb to Podblica. Here, the locals created an identical atmosphere, as if we were at one of the stages at Tour de France.
